The software comes in two versions; a free downloadable version that works for a few employees and a hosted version that will work for large number of employees who may be distributed in different locations. It is as integrated project management and collaboration tool and can be configured easily for time data capture and managing expenses.
The hosted version is just for trying out the features. Since the true business version is web based, it comes with the biggest advantage that you do not need resources heavy clients but clients that are capable of running just the web browsers. The interface is simple and the controls are grouped into MyArea, Tasks, projects, Timesheet, Expense and reports. As managers you would be able to get a consolidated view of work done, bug and issue tracking, employee attendance, etc. For all the events you get email alerts so that you can be on top of all the issues. Paid/unpaid hours as well as expenses are captured. Billing rates can be different depending on the employee and his skills. Overall, thus, this makes for a handy tool and you are assured that all the audit requirements are met.
